Customers
must book their shipments in one of the following Cool Care
categories:
STD COOL CARE
+2°C to +8°C;
STD COOL CARE
+15°C to +25°C.
The client
must comply with the following instructions when delivering the
cargo:
1. Include under
the ?Handling information? section in the air waybill (AWB) the
following:
1.1 Temperature
range subject to the Cool Care restrictions:
(a) +2°C to
+8°C subject to space availability
(b) +15°C to
+25°C subject to space availability
If the phrase
?subject
to space availability?
is not included, LATAM Cargo will reject the shipment or place it on
hold until it is corrected.
Note: Only one
temperature range is allowed per AWB, and the temperature range must
match that of the booking and label. AWB, without this information or
any discrepancy, will stay ?On Hold? until the client specifies
the correct temperature range.
Entries such as
"Keep under refrigeration at all times" or "Maintain
at below 5°C" will be rejected and should not be included.
1.2. Shipper?s
24-Hour Emergency Contact Number.
1.3. All data
loggers must be declared in the AWB. The brand and type of the
tracking device must be stated in the ?Handling Information?
section.
Note: Only data
loggers approved by LATAM Cargo may be used. Please review the
approved devices for LATAM group flights at the ?Approved
Monitoring Devices? section in
https://www.latamcargo.com/en/packaging
1.4. Client
should inform in the handling information of the AWB that its a
PHARMA shipment by declaring PIL and/or PHARMA and/or Pharmaceutical.
2. Cargo must be
labeled with IATAs Time and Temperature sensitive label with the
required temperature range, which must also match the temperature
listed on the AWB and in the booking.
3. Any supporting
documentation (e.g., health certificate(s), official permit(s) or
other approvals) must be attached to the AWB.
